David & Abby Aitken - Senior Pastors

David and Abby were both brought up in missionary families.

David's parents worked with WEC in many locations, before taking on the running and management of the Killcreggan conferencing centre in the West coast of Scotland.

Abby's parents worked with CMCW (now Release International) alongside Richard and Sabrina Wurmbrand as missionaries in Eastern Europe before the fall of communism, smuggling Bibles and supplies into towns and villages.

David and Abby both left their backgrounds to discover the purpose of life for themselves! They met in Aberdeen (through Youth for Christ), where David qualified with a BSE degree in Engineering. Abby trained in childcare and education. They married in June 1997, and their first daughter, Sholah, was born in 1998. David & Abby joined COC Aberdeen soon after they were married. This decision proved to change the course of their lives quite drastically!! After graduating from their school of ministries, David & Abby continued to work in the Aberdeen Church, under Senior Pastors Kevin and Cheryl Upton. In 2002 David & Abby moved to Dundee to pioneer a COC church.

After many challenges, oppositions and learning curves, a building was found and "ThePo!ntC.O.C." birthed a new era of church life with hopefully better hair dos!

"Our motivation right now is to live our lives to the fullest and let the overflow of that involve the people around us. Life can be really tough at times and the thought that there are people going through struggles or just living a mundane existence because they don't know or believe that there's anything better ...that's an unbearable thought for us. We live to see people succeed, everything around us from society to media takes great pleasure in building people up , then laughing and sniggering when they fall. We are driven to see people acknowledged, trained, coached and released.

Our goal is to see the people around us achieve personal freedom, health & success and go further than we have...then rinse and repeat!!!"

Ken & Catriona Field - Associate Pastors

Ken & Catriona have been married for 33 years and have two fabulous daughters, Lyanna, 32 and Alex, 20. Ken & Catriona both manage full-time businesses in St Andrews along with pastoring.

Ken & Catriona joined ThePo!ntC.O.C. 6 years ago. The purpose on their lives quickly became evident, by the journey they've gone through together, their experience of coming into a relationship with God and the impact this decision has made in their family.

Ken & Catriona are deeply motivated to see people introduced to God and to provide opportunity for people to see the benefits of living with a cause and a reason - not limited by personal restrictions and issues that consume lives. Ken & Catriona believe in leading by example and discipleship, coaching people, in and out of the church environment, into success in whatever area is needed.

Along with a drive to reach outside of church culture, Ken carries a strong teaching gift, bringing an understanding of the practical changes we, as individuals, can implement, simply by taking guidelines from the Bible and applying them to our day-to-day life, whether it be in work, family, health, relationships, etc.

Catriona has an amazing commitment and heart for meeting people's needs, from encouraging people to understand their identity, to equipping and coaching individuals to reach their goals. Catriona is invested in people, and raises a standard for the power of kindness and taking the time to care.
